Save the Lost City!

How much do MGM suck?? Very much so is the correct answer! We’re only a few episodes into the new Season 5 of Stargate Atlantis (which is going brilliantly by the way) and we find out that they’re cancelling the show!

Suffice to say I spent a good 15 minutes ranting and raving and generally kicking things in my frustration at stupid greedy corporations!

Basically the ‘powers that be’ decided to drop the very sucessful and brilliant Stargate Atlantis to start a new show “Stargate Universe” where a group of people get onto this Ancient ship that seeded Stargates throughout that galaxy and find that they’re stuck on it with no way to get home. Hmmm…. that plot seems kind of familiar … people stuck thousands of light-years from home … on a ship … maybe it’s Robert Picardo’s sudden appearance in Atlantis but that sounds to me a lot like the plot from Star Trek Voyager!!

I don’t know about you but do we really want another Voyager????

What the hell is wrong with the existing show? Absolutely nothing! Now all we’re gonna get is a measly few films – did we ask for that? Err.. No … didn’t think so! Argh! Atlantis is my all-time favourite show – I even turf my family out of the sitting room for an hour just so I can watch it!

MGM you seriously suck!!

If this annoys you as much as it does me then there’s a petition site:

They’re even planning to send lemons! Brilliant. Fingers and toes crossed that it’ll make a difference.
